Anyone who has ever done any flying on a private jet can list off dozens of reasons why it’s the best way to fly, hands down. But if you’ve never flown on a private jet charter before, you probably don’t realize that the best things about flying on a private plane are not things, so to speak. The best part about flying on a private jet is not so much what you get (though there are some pretty cool perks) but rather what you miss.
Think back to the last time you flew on one of the major airlines. Hopefully you were at least flying first class. Even if you were, though, you no doubt had to contend with some or all of these things:
- Noise. We’re not talking about the noise of the plane itself-that’s unavoidable. We’re talking about the noise of other people talking about things you really don’t care to listen to. You can buy noise canceling headphones, of course, but why should you have to?
- Kids. Don’t get us wrong; we love kids. Just not on an airplane. While it’s less common to have noisy, problem kids in first class, there’s still no guarantee that you won’t have to listen to a fussy baby.
- Crowding. Have you ever had the guy next to you decide to fall asleep? Did you notice that when other passengers do that, they can never seem to stay in their own chair? Again, first class gives you a little room to spread out, but nothing like the space on a private jet charter.
- Airline food. Let’s face it, most of the major airlines serve stuff that you wouldn’t feed to your dog (because he wouldn’t eat it either). Trust us on this one, if you have a flight long enough that you need a meal, you will be treated much better on a private jet.
- Long waits. You’ll find that the entire process, from passing through security to take off, is generally much better streamlined for you if you are taking a private jet charter.
If you add in all of the extra benefits of flying on a private plane, you’re sure to agree that it’s the best way to get where you’re going. But as we said, the best parts about flying on a private jet charter are the things you miss.
