Mid-Size Charters
Jets are generally classified into five categories:

For mid-size jets, the range is typically up to about 2,500 miles (although some have longer ranges) with a passenger load of six to nine adults.

The Astra SP/SPX
A mid-size jet, the Astra SP is economically one of the best mid-size jets. It can fly up to 465 mph and has a range of 2330 miles. It is considered a fine choice for business or leisure charter. Eight or nine people can be seated comfortably in its cabin.
The Astra SPX also seats up to nine people. It has improved avionics over its sister jet. The speed of the SPX is about the same as the SP but the range is at 2860 miles.
The Citation Excel
This deluxe mid-size easily flies in and out of the smaller airports. It can accommodate up to eight passengers and reach speeds of 480 mph. The range is a bountiful 2,175 miles. Plus, it has 79 cubic square feet of baggage space. This plane is respected and used by both business and leisure travelers.
The Citation III
This Cessna manufactured aircraft is special because it was designed and built totally in the United States. Thus popular plane reaches speeds of 495 mph and has a range of 2,000 miles. It seats up to eight passengers.
The Citation VII
An upgraded version of the Citation III, the VII comes equipped with upgraded avionics and increased power. This jet comfortably seats eight passengers, can fly up to 2,000 miles and go as fast as 516 mph.
The Citation X
The X is the titan of the mid-size jet class. It cruises at 590 mph and has a range of 3600 miles. It can seat up to nine passengers and has over 70 cubic feet to hold their baggage. Its posh interior makes it popular with business and leisure travelers.
The Falcon 200
With the addition of a third engine and larger fuel tanks, this jet has superior range and speed for its class. Its cruising speed is 480 mph and its range is 4,600 miles. It seats up to nine passengers making it the choice for a long distance deluxe jet charter.
The Falcon 50
A Dassault built jet, the Falcon 50 enjoys a superior reputation among mid-size charter jets. It has a three engine structure enabling more speed, range and power. It flies up to 475 mph and has a range of 4,000 miles. Seating up to nine passengers and with 115 cubic feet of luggage space, it’s popular among the business and leisure flyer.
The Hawker 700
This jet is noted for the quietness of its engine which enables it to fly in and out of any small airport in the country. It also has a wide cabin that accommodates up to eight passengers. It flies at speeds up to 450 mph and has a range of 1,950 miles
The Hawker 800 XP
This aircraft contains a full lavatory, a galley and seats eight. Its interior cabin is especially swanky making this a frequently requested plane. It reaches airspeeds of 500 mph and has a range of 2,900 miles.
Learjet 45
Learjet is one of the most widely known jets in the world. This model debuted in 1992 and quickly became a preferred mode of transportation in the charter jet business. The 45 can accommodate up to nine passengers, cruises at 535 mph and can travel non-stop up to 2,100 miles.
Learjet 55
Up to eight passengers can fit comfortably in the Learjet 55, a more spacious jet than many other mid-size models. The range of the aircraft is about 2,100 miles and it cruises at 520 mph.
Learjet 60
The peaceful ride passengers enjoy on this aircraft comes from the refurbished interior and improved avionics. This mid-size jet seats up to eight passengers. It flies up to 2,615 miles and has a speed of 525 mph.
