The Beechjet 400 and 400A
This aircraft is a tweaked version of the Mitsubishi Diamond 2. The 400 comfortably seats seven adults and capably serves both the business and leisure sector. It goes up to 434 miles per hour and has a range of about 1,500 miles.
The Beechjet 400A boasts of more cabin space, a fresh interior design and more weight capacity than the 400.
The Citation Bravo
Manufactured by Cessna, the Citation seats seven adults and travels up to 463 miles per hour with a maximum range of about 1,850 miles. There is plenty of storage and cabin space in this economical private jet charter choice. This jet is perfect for short to mid-range trips.
The Citation CJ1
With a maximum seating capacity of five, a speed of 437 mph and a range of around 1,430 miles, this is one of the smaller light jets. In fact, it is a very popular mode of transport for short range business jet charters because it’s so reasonably priced.
The Citation CJ2
This aircraft is a refinement of the CJ1 and has become a popular way to travel for a business executive charter. Improvements have been made to the avionics on board plus the increased weight capacity leads to a seating capacity of seven instead of five on the CJ1. The CJ2 has a range of about 1,800 miles and a maximum speed of 405 mph.
The Citation CJ3
The Citation CJ3 seats seven passengers and has a range of about 1,850 miles. Capable of achieving speeds of up to 465 mph, this aircraft is one of the fastest in the light jet category. It’s an upgrade from the CJ1 and CJ2.
The Citation Encore
Introduced in 1993, the Encore has become one of the leading private charter jets. It has a cruising speed of about 445 mph and a range of about 1,600 miles. The luxuriously appointed cabin comfortably seats up to eight passengers.
The Citation II
Debuting in 1984, the Citation rapidly became one of the premiere light jets in the industry. With a speed of 386 mph and a range of about 1,840 miles, the aircraft can seat up to eight passengers.
The Citation Ultra
This simple, light jet can comfortably seat up to six people. It can travel up to about 445 mph and has a range of about 1450 miles. It is an economical way to travel by private jet charter.
The Citation V
This light jet is an enhanced version of the Citation II. Along with expanded cabin space, this aircraft seats eight and can fly at a maximum speed of 427 mph. It has a range of about 2,000 miles making it a preferred mode of transportation for leisure or business travel.
Falcon 10
This jet is a leader among light jets with a maximum speed of about 520 mph. It ranges about 2,000 miles and can seat up seven passengers comfortably. It competes quite successfully against the Lear Jet.
Hawker 400XP
This jet boasts an impressive speed of 511 mph and a range of about 1900 miles. Up to eight individuals can comfortable be seated in its plush comfort. The head and shoulder room is more accommodating than many of the other jets in this class.
Learjet 24
The famous Learjet was designed to operate with the same efficiency as commercial airliners but using the speed and power of jets. This aircraft has a maximum range of about 1,100 miles and can go up to 475 mph. It seats six comfortably.
Learjet 31A
The Learjet 31A can fly up to 510 mph and seats up to seven passengers. With a range of about 1565 miles, this efficient aircraft can seat up to seven passengers. It also has an enclosed lavatory.
Learjet 35
This jet is very popular among business and leisure travelers. It can comfortably seat up to eight passengers. It cruises up to 510 mph, and has a longer range than the Learjet 31 at 2,220 miles.
Learjet 40
Designed to travel at higher altitudes than most light jets, the Learjet 40 was introduced to the air traffic market in 2003. The plane seats up to eight people, has a range of about 1672 miles and a top speed of 464 mph.
Premier 1
This is a great choice for a shorter range charter. The maximum speed of the aircraft is 461 mph and its flying range is about 1,500 miles. Built by Raytheon, the Premier 1 seats up to six passengers.
Westwind 1
This speedy, long range light jet seats seven, travels up to 450 mph and has an impressive range of 2,100 miles. Most of their flights are non-stop and there is only one stop on a transcontinental flight. The Westwind 1 is popular with business and leisure travelers.
Westwind II
This is the worthy successor to the Westwind I. There have many interior as well exterior improvements to this aircraft. It seats up to eight passengers, has a range of up to 2,400 mile and a top speed of 450 mph.
